“We’ve installed a lot of different running boards, and the HD WorkStep is one of the easier installs we’ve come across.
The biggest thing that stood out to us was how straightforward the installation is. The no-drill mounting system makes for a clean install without having to modify the truck, and the brackets and hardware are well thought out.
One detail we really appreciate from an installation standpoint is the welded end caps. There are no separate end caps to install or worry about lining up and securing. The boards arrive finished and ready to mount, which saves installation time and gives the finished product a clean, professional appearance.
The boards also have enough adjustability to get the positioning right and achieve a clean finished look. The 7-inch step surface provides plenty of room for a solid step, while the serrated surface gives good traction.
