How Long Does It Really Take to Install the HD WorkStep?
One of the biggest pushbacks we hear about the HD WorkStep is this:
“There’s no way it installs in 30 minutes.”

To settle the debate, we grabbed a truck, a set of HD Worksteps, and a timer, and filmed the whole process.
No shortcuts. No pre-installed hardware. Just a real install.
From opening the box to completing the installation on one side of the vehicle, the process took 16 minutes.
That includes:
- Unboxing the brackets and steps
- Positioning the components
- Mounting the brackets
- Installing the step
- Securing the hardware
